Ingredients:
Serves 6
1 1/2 tsp sage
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp thyme leaves
1/2 tsp ground all-spice
1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
4 boneless pork chops, 1 inch thick (about 1 1/4 pounds)
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 red apples, thinly sliced
1/2 C apple or orange juice
1 Tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
Mix flour, sage, garlic, thyme, all-spice, paprika, and salt, in a small bowl.
Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with 1 Tbsp flour mixture.
Heat oil in large skillet, over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops. Brown on both sides. Remove from skillet.
Add onion. Cook and stir for 3 minutes, or until tender.
Add apples. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Stir in juice, sugar, and remaining flour mixture. Stir well.
Return pork chops to skillet. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
